Cosmos Bolsters Lineup
Monday July 19, 2010:
As a result of Cosmos Sports
growing business in the sports marketing field, the
company is proud to announce the strengthened of its
lineup with internal promotions and hirings.
Scott Mosey has been promoted to Executive Director
at Cosmos Sports. Scott has been with Cosmos for
nearly seven years, and has led several team, branding
and marketing initiatives including the sales efforts
for the Hamilton Bulldogs, Buffalo Bills in Toronto,
Usain Bolt Event, Ajax Downs, Toronto Raptors, and also
currently serves as Director of Sales and Marketing of
the Toronto Nationals. Scott is also a primary driver of
new business development at Cosmos.
Mike Miele has been promoted to Director of
Marketing. Mike has been instrumental in building
the Pickfun.com brand with the 2010 Grey Cup, Edmonton
Eskimos, Toronto Rock, and Costco Wholesalers. Mike also
teaches several modules of the Cosmos Sports Institute,
and has sold and managed many programs at Cosmos,
including the the 2010 CTV Olympic Theatre program, AC
Milan Soccer Academy and Canadian Soccer League
properties.
Bryan McGahey has been named the Director of Team
Services. This new position with Cosmos is a great
fit for Bryan who has headed up the Career Management
division and worked with such clients as DC United,
Toronto Argonauts, Washington Stealth, and the Edmonton
Oilers. In his new role, Bryan will be more actively
invovled with Revenue Generation Training progams which
have served over 300 sports teams to date.
Jordan Harding joins Cosmos Sports as the company's new
Manager of Corporate Partnerships. Jordan comes to
Cosmos, a recent graduate of Queen's University, earning
his Masters in Industrial Relations. Prior to that he
earned his Honours BBA from Brock University An avid
sports enthusiast. Jordan was also instrumental in
leading a team of 50 people to raise money for the
Canadian Tire Jump Start program helping children who
cannot afford to play sports.
The team is joined by:
Director of IT & Creative Services: Abhinav
Nongmeikapam, who continues to lead all the creative and
online avenues of the business and has spearheaded the
building of the www.cosmossports.com
www.sportshiring.com and www.pickfun.com brands in
addition to managing the Canadian Soccer League and
Toronto Nationals campaigns;
and Marketing Coordinator, Rebecca Siddall, who
following success with CTV Olympics and Platinum
Naturals at Cosmos, rejoined the company in June, after
completing her University degree, to work on several
initiatives including the new Good to Go/CNIB retail
program launching in August 2010.
