DEFENDING MLL CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCE MAJOR CHANGES FOR 2010

Nationals Season Opener Press Conference
TORONTO, May 7th, 2010
— With their second season right around the corner, the
Toronto Nationals are gearing up and ready to defend
their Major League Lacrosse Championship title. The
Nationals’ are hosting a press conference that will be
held on the Hooters Rooftop Patio on
Thursday, May 14
at 4:00 p.m. On
hand at the press conference will be Toronto Nationals’
head coach Dave Huntley.
Coach Huntley, who will also be guiding Team Canada
in the World Championships this summer, along with some
of the best lacrosse players in the world, will be
unveiling the 2010 roster.
Major announcements will be made on Thursday, May 13th
regarding the 2010 season.
Details on the May 22nd home opener,
media partners, exciting venue information, and new
partnerships will also be addressed.

The Toronto Nationals are Canada's
first professional field lacrosse team and began playing
in 2009 in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL). Their
inaugural season ended on a definite high note with the
team winning the Steinfeld Cup. Additionally, the
Nationals were the only professional sports team in
Toronto
last year to win a championship.
