The Georgia Swarm have started strong in the 2025-2026 NLL season with a record of 2-2 and will look to build on this early momentum to continue their success as their season unfolds. This early success is fueled by a strong defensive unit and solid goaltending, which are shaping the identity of the Georgia Swarm moving forward.
Defensively, the Swarm have been led by Michael Grace, who ranks among the league leaders in caused turnovers, while Kason Tarbell has stabilized the defensive unit by leading the team in blocked shots. In net, Brett Dobson has provided stability for the Swarm, ranking among the top five in saves across the NLL. Offensively, Shayne Jackson has led the Swarm with eight goals and 15 points to provide the defense with support.
Away from the arena, the Georgia Swarm continue to enhance fan engagement through their themed “Event Nights,” supported by ongoing collaboration with Cosmos Sports & Entertainment. The events begin with a special milestone on January 10, 2026, as the Swarm’s Country Night game versus the Colorado Mammoth marks the 10th anniversary of the team playing in Georgia. The Swarm’s first home game in Georgia was played on January 9, 2016.
Following the Country Night there are two events in February: Women in Sports Night on February 7, 2026, and Native Heritage Night on February 28, 2026. Cosmos has supported these initiatives through targeted ticket outreach, helping bring fans into the arena to experience these celebrations firsthand.
As the season progresses, the Georgia Swarm will look to carry their momentum and defensive identity through the remainder of the schedule, emphasizing continued growth and consistency.
