Campbell Extends Championship Lead with Dominant Mid-Ohio Weekend

By Noah Konorty | June 14, 2026

Entering the weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course atop the F4 United States Championship standings with 108 points, Caleb Campbell knew the pressure that came with being the driver everyone was chasing.

The Kiwi Motorsport driver continued to prove why he holds that position.

Campbell immediately established himself as one of the quickest drivers in the field, delivering a strong qualifying performance to secure a front-row starting position in P2. On a circuit known for its technical layout, elevation changes, and limited margin for error, the result set the stage for another impressive weekend.

Race 1 saw Campbell battle at the front throughout the event. Demonstrating patience and consistency, he managed the challenges of Mid-Ohio while maintaining strong pace against his championship rivals. When the checkered flag flew, Campbell crossed the line in second place to earn another podium finish and valuable points toward his title campaign.

If Race 1 highlighted his composure, Race 2 showcased his ability to capitalize.

Campbell once again found himself in contention at the front of the field and delivered when it mattered most. Combining calculated aggression with precision behind the wheel, he worked his way into the lead and never looked back. After controlling the race from the front, Campbell claimed his second victory of the 2026 season, standing atop the podium once again.

The Mid-Ohio weekend marked another statement performance from the young Canadian. With a second-place finish followed by a race victory, Campbell not only added to his growing list of podiums but further strengthened his grip on the championship lead.

As the F4 United States Championship season continues, Campbell’s blend of speed, consistency, and maturity has emerged as the benchmark for the rest of the field. While there is still plenty of racing left to be done, Mid-Ohio served as another reminder that if drivers hope to challenge for the title this season, they’ll have to go through Caleb Campbell first.
