As a member of the Cosmos Sports team since 2006, Abhinav currently serves as the Director of Marketing. In this role, he oversees all the marketing areas of the business and is always looking for new and innovative ways to leverage marketing tactics to generate leads and drive revenue for the company.

In 2013, Abhinav was a key member of Brampton Beast of the ECHL. As a member of the founding group that brought the Beast to Brampton, Abhinav served as the team’s inaugural Vice President of Digital Media & I.T., working to build the brand and ultimately the fan base for the new team. He also led the online branding for the new team and was responsible for overseeing all online marketing campaigns relevant to ticket sales and corporate partnership development.

Abhinav has managed and executed numerous strategic online marketing campaigns to drive and maximize ticket sales revenue for the Cosmos’ clients including Buffalo Bills in Toronto, Canada Soccer, the 2012 Canadian Finals Rodeo, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Rogers Cup, the Canadian Soccer League, the Toronto Nationals, Nanaimo Clippers, Canada Sevens (Rugby Canada), Toronto Wolfpack, Cycling Canada, St. Cloud Norsemen and Edmonton Elks. This has significantly contributed to the overall success of the account.

In 2019, Abhinav led the marketing department of the Global T20 Canada North America’s first and only professional cricket tournament and through strategic and targeted marketing campaigns the event generated over $900,000 in ticket sales revenues.

Abhinav led the Cosmos marketing team to develop and build the brand for Mac Clark Racing, 2Pong and Pro Padel League.

In 2022, he led the strategic email campaign and remarketing campaign of Canada Sevens and generated thousands of dollars in ticket sales revenues.

Abhinav is working closely with Skate Canada to understand their fans’ universe and buyer journey through Fans Intelligence Marketing.

Currently, he is also leading the marketing team of the Milton Youth Soccer Club to grow their brand and maximize club registration.

Abhinav earned his Post Graduate in International Business Management from Centennial College, Toronto and his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from R.V College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. He has over 15 years of experience in Online marketing, which includes Search Engine Optimization, Google Adwords and Analytics, and other Social Media platforms.

Currently, Abhinav resides in Mississauga with his wife Sucheta and his daughter and son. His interests include travelling, music, and several sports including tennis, soccer and football.
