Sam has been a dedicated member of the Cosmos Sports & Entertainment team since 2021, bringing a strong background in sports marketing and a passion for the business of sports. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Political Science Degree in 2020, Sam later pursued his interest in the industry by completing the Sport and Event Marketing program at George Brown College.

Since joining Cosmos, Sam has played an integral role in both marketing and sponsorship initiatives. Initially working as an intern, he supported key projects by designing graphics, producing The Rookies Podcast, creating social media strategies, and crafting sponsorship decks. His contributions quickly earned him a full-time position as Marketing Coordinator in March 2022, where he enhanced the company’s digital presence and strengthened relationships with clients.

In 2023, Sam was promoted to Marketing Manager, taking on leadership of major accounts such as Rugby Canada, Nanaimo Clippers, Toronto Rush, Milton Magic FC, Shooting Federation of Canada, Cycling Canada, PR Sevens, and U Sports. Specializing in digital marketing, Sam’s expertise includes website design and management, email marketing, social media, graphic design, and digital ad campaigns. Under his management, these accounts experienced significant growth in engagement, brand visibility, and revenue. Sam has a proven track record of executing impactful marketing campaigns and building strategies that deliver measurable results.

Beyond client work, Sam has been instrumental in developing Cosmos’ own brand identity. In November 2023, he spearheaded the launch of a new Cosmos logo and redesigned website.

With a lifelong involvement in sports and a deep understanding of teamwork, leadership, and time management gained through playing varsity football at Wilfrid Laurier, Sam continues to bring passion and expertise to every project he undertakes at Cosmos.
