Danika is currently enrolled at the University of Waterloo, taking the Environment and Business program. She is utilizing the courses she has taken in business and sustainable operations to integrate sustainability into the sports industry.

Danika was a competitive swimmer for both her high school and hometown team. She served as captain and one of the coaches for her hometown team during the last three years of her swimming career. This experience, combined with her passion for sports, inspired her to pursue a career in the sports industry. She has always been deeply committed to sustainability and protecting our planet, and the opportunity to build a career that unites these two passions is truly a dream come true.

Danika will be interning at Cosmos Sports and Entertainment as a Corporate Sponsorship Executive. She will conduct research and outreach to identify potential sponsors for current clients. She will also create overviews and proposals, as well as attend virtual meetings throughout multiple categories with potential sponsors.
