Robbie Zaitchik studied Sports Business at the University of Waterloo and is currently completing a postgraduate certificate in Digital Media Marketing at George Brown College while building experience across sports media, digital marketing, and research. With a strong passion for storytelling and sports, Robbie has developed a diverse background that blends content creation, journalism, analytics, and communication within the sports industry.

Robbie currently writes for Jays Journal, where he has published over 100 articles covering the Toronto Blue Jays, including feature stories and interviews with prominent figures across baseball media such as Jamie Campbell, Joe Siddall, Ricky Romero, and more. His work focuses on player development, organizational analysis, and long-form storytelling, while continuing to grow his experience in sports journalism and digital media.

Alongside his work in media, Robbie has also gained experience in marketing and content strategy through his role with Cosmos Sports & Entertainment, where he contributes to social media campaigns, blog writing, and digital content creation for sports and entertainment clients. His interests extend beyond media into sports analytics, branding, and audience engagement, with a particular focus on how content can connect fans more closely to teams, athletes, and events.

Outside of academics and work, Robbie enjoys golfing, following all Toronto sports, creating sports-related digital content, and staying active through athletics. He is passionate about continuing to grow within the sports industry while combining his interests in media, storytelling, and marketing.
