Currently in her final year of the Sport Management program at Brock University, Alicia is looking to pursue a career in sports, as she found her love for sports at a very young age. Marketing sparked her interest at the beginning of her university journey, and she has continued to learn and expand on her sport marketing knowledge, leading her to apply for this position. She previously worked on campus doing live statistics at home varsity volleyball and basketball games, which has allowed her to be more collaborative and adaptable. 

 

Alicia grew up playing soccer and slowly fell in love with team sports and continued to play all throughout high school — along with basketball, volleyball, and track. She decided to work in sports because of its competitiveness, unpredictability, and excitement. She is a huge fan of the Milwaukee Bucks and her favorite player is Giannis Antetokounmpo, but also enjoys watching the USWNT and just recently started getting into tennis. She really looks up to professional female athletes like Alex Morgan, Suni Lee, Eileen Gu, and Katie Ledecky.

 

At Cosmos, Alicia will be a part of the Social Media and Marketing team — working closely with Milton FC, but also promoting Cosmos’ brand itself.
