After studying Human Resources during his undergrad, David decided to pursue a career more closely aligned with his passion for sports. He enrolled in George Brown College’s Sport and Event Marketing post-graduate program, where he gained hands-on experience planning and executing his own charity event.

David joined Cosmos Sports & Entertainment as a Marketing and Operations Intern, working closely with the Toronto Rush of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA). In this role, he supported game day operations, winter clinics, and open tryouts, while also managing social media content for various clients.

Following his internship, David joined Cosmos full-time and stepped into the role of Operations Manager for the Toronto Rush, where he oversees the coordination and execution of game days.

He later transitioned into a management role as Communications Manager, where he played a key role in leading marketing and communications initiatives across multiple properties. Notably, David was heavily involved in the rebrand of Milton Magic FC, contributing to the development of a new website and the implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy to support the club’s growth.

In 2025, following his involvement in the successful sale of the Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club of the Canadian Baseball League (CBL), David transitioned into franchise sales and now serves as a Franchise Sales Manager. In this role, he works directly with ownership groups, investors, and executives, connecting qualified buyers with sports franchise opportunities and supporting transactions involving both minority and majority ownership stakes.

With a foundation in Human Resources, David also plays an active role in the recruitment and development of interns and full-time staff at Cosmos.
