Gabriela’s enthusiasm and devotion to sports resonate with the principles underlying Mattel’s Career of the Year 2023 initiative: Women in Sports. Recognizing her role in an era of transformative change, she draws parallels to these inspirational figurines (Barbie collection) and continues to make impactful progress in her career.

Having once been hindered from engaging in sports due to antiquated gender stereotypes, she now carries a powerful motivation. The memories of her younger self push Gabriela’s efforts to break through the barriers of the male-centric sports sector and make a profound contribution to the progress of women’s sports.
