Joshua
Balogun
Joshua is a third-year Sport Management student at Humber Polytechnic with a passion for sports and creating meaningful experiences within the industry. His journey into sport has been shaped by hands-on volunteer and event experiences, including supporting HoopQueens, working as a Minor Official at Canada Basketball’s 3×3 tournament, and contributing to a FIFA World Cup 2026 economic impact data collection initiative in partnership with the City of Toronto.
Joshua chose to pursue a career in sports because it has always been one of his biggest passions and has been a major part of his life from a young age. He especially developed a love for basketball early on, which continues to be his favourite sport to play and follow.
At Cosmos Sports & Entertainment, Joshua is working as a Corporate Sponsorship Executive Intern, where he will support sponsorship outreach and research and connect with potential partners. He is excited to gain further hands-on industry experience and continue growing as a Sport Management professional.
