Josh is an Account Executive Intern at Cosmos Sports & Entertainment, and he is currently a 3rd-year student at Humber Polytechnic pursuing an advanced diploma in Sport Management. Josh has been a “sports guy”/athlete all his life, and it was his love for sports that led him to pursue a career in the sports industry. His passion for sports started as long as
he can remember, he played every big sport growing up, like Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer.

As Josh got older, he found his calling in sports, Soccer and Track & Field. Playing Goalkeeper from U12 to U17 competitive soccer for Guelph–his hometown, Kitchener, and Waterloo. He also excelled at Track & Field in high school, making it to OFSAA-West for the Long Jump in 10th & 11th grade–including a district championship, until COVID-19 ended his 12th-grade season before it could start in 2020.

Josh is a firm believer in enjoying and loving what you do for a living rather than working for the sake of working because it will lead to a happier and less stressful life, hence why he chose to pursue a career in sports.

At Cosmos, Josh will be tasked with managing a pipeline of potential customers, helping senior staff close complex deals, keeping CRM data up to date, helping with outbound ticket sales campaigns, and prospecting potential customers for clientele. Overall, he is very grateful and excited for the opportunity to learn from the gifted staff of Cosmos, this
experience will greatly benefit him and kick off his career journey into the world of sports!
