KHALEEL
WEDDERBURN

Khaleel is currently in his final semester at Brock University, where he is completing a
degree in Sport Management. During his time at Brock, he has developed a strong interest
in the business side of sport, particularly in sales, marketing, and sponsorship. Khaleel got
his start in sports working in recreational programming as a camp counsellor with the
University of Toronto. He chose to pursue a career in sports because of his passion for the
industry and his interest in building relationships with others through sport.

This summer, Khaleel is completing a remote internship with Cosmos Sports &
Entertainment as an Account Executive. Through this opportunity, he is gaining valuable
experience in ticket sales, customer relations, and business development. His
responsibilities include prospecting, supporting ticket sales initiatives, and communicating
with clients and fans.

Outside of school and work, Khaleel is a passionate sports fan who enjoys watching and
playing sports. He closely follows basketball, soccer, hockey, and football and enjoys staying
active through sports and recreation.
