Nicole Lyons is currently a student in the Sports Administration (SPAD) program at Laurentian University. While her studies have given her a strong grasp of sports marketing and the business side of the industry, her real passion for sports started much earlier. 

Since she was 15, Nicole has spent every summer working at youth camps. This wasn’t just a summer job for her; it’s where she saw firsthand how much of a difference sports can make in a kid’s life. Those years at camp gave Nicole a clear goal: she wants to ensure every young person has an equal chance to get in on the action. She chose to pursue a career in sports because she believes that through the right partnerships, the industry can make sports more accessible to everyone. 

Now, as a Corporate Sponsorship Intern at Cosmos Sports & Entertainment, Nicole is putting her SPAD education into practice. She spends her time helping to identify the brands that can best connect with fans and communities. She’s driven by a competitive spirit and a desire to see the business side of sports done right. 

When she isn’t working, Nicole is a dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays, and she keeps a close eye on the growing world of professional women’s rugby. She’s excited to be part of the Cosmos team and to help build partnerships that actually matter to fans.
