NorthPaws to remain in Kamloops as the franchise seeks new leadership for the franchise
KAMLOOPS, B.C — The Kamloops NorthPaws announced today that it has initiated a search for new ownership to lead the franchise into its next chapter.
Established in 2020, the NorthPaws have become part of Kamloops’ summer sports landscape, providing affordable family entertainment and showcasing talented collegiate baseball players from across North America. The team competes in the West Coast League and plays its home
games at one of the league’s best ballparks Norbrock Stadium in McArthur Island Park.
The transition represents an opportunity for a new group to build upon the foundation established by the current owners and guide the NorthPaws through their next stage of growth. The team will remain in Kamloops, with the search focused on identifying an owner who shares the organization’s commitment to the community, its supporters and the long-term future of baseball in the region.

fans, partners, host families and the entire Kamloops community,” said the NorthPaws ownership group. “We believe this is the right time to welcome new ownership with the vision, energy and resources to take the team forward. This is a positive step for the future of the NorthPaws, and our priority is finding the right owner to continue growing the organization here in Kamloops.”
The West Coast Baseball League combines high-level collegiate baseball with affordable, community-focused summer entertainment. Founded in 2005, the WCL operates across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest, providing a platform for college-eligible players to develop and compete while its member clubs build lasting connections with their local communities. The NorthPaws offer the chance to become part of that growing regional baseball network while building on the team’s established presence in Kamloops.
