Caleb Campbell returns to the track this weekend as the Formula 4 United States Championship heads to New Jersey Motorsports Park from July 31 to August 2.

The Canadian enters the weekend leading the championship with 151 points, holding a 28-point advantage over Gastón Irazú. Campbell has already collected four victories during the 2026 season, establishing himself as one of the drivers in his second year of F4 U.S. competition. 

Campbell opened this year’s campaign with consecutive victories at NOLA Motorsports Park before returning to the top step of the podium at Mid-Ohio. That experience has reinforced the importance of patience, consistency and maximizing every session.

“The smallest details can make a big difference,” Campbell said. “The focus is on putting together a clean, consistent weekend, making the right adjustments and being in contention every time we go out on track.” 

Away from the track, he has continued working on his strength and endurance while using simulator sessions, data analysis and previous onboard footage to prepare for New Jersey. The 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway is demanding, featuring 12 turns and a half-mile straightaway. Campbell competed at the circuit during his 2025 rookie season and has spent time studying an area of the track that challenged him last year.

Saturday’s schedule includes qualifying at noon, followed by Race 1 at 4:55 p.m. Sunday will feature Race 2 at noon and the final race of the weekend at 4:10 p.m. With the championship entering an important stage, Campbell understands that protecting his points advantage will require speed without unnecessary risk.
